Tag match pitting Nash, Morton to headline Night of the Legends
Ricky Morton has been trying to pick a fight with Kevin Nash for 10 years. He finally “crossed the line,” Nash said in accepting an offer from Doug Gibson to tag against The Rock-n-Roll Express at AWE’s Awesome Night of the Legends on Oct. 15, 2011, at Augusta Expo in Fishersville, Va.
AWE announces card for Night of the Superstars: Sept. 17
The contract/waiver signing with The Rock-n-Roll Express, Kevin Nash and Doug Gibson, special appearances by “Diamond” Dallas Page, WWE Hall of Famer Sunny and “Hardcore Legend” Terry Funk and a main event with “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan taking on Alex Silva will highlight the AWE Awesome Night of the Superstars show in Woodstock, Va. on Saturday, Sept. 17.

AWE laying foundation for future
The first two shows out of the gate have the wrestling world abuzz about AWE. Drawing a sellout crowd of 1,300 to its first show in Waynesboro, Va., was one thing. Putting 1,100 butts in seats and selling out its next show in Palmyra, Va., 50 miles from a nationally-known company in Richmond that drew a smaller crowd that same night, is yet another.
