Final words before The Final Countdown?

Ricky Morton said before he sat down with us last week for the series of interviews that we did talking about his recent actions in Awesome Wrestling Entertainment that the interviews would be a one-and-done kind of thing – he’d talk with us for one day, but … no more.
We thought, then, that it would make sense to end with an opportunity for Morton to offer some final words at the opponents of The Rock-n-Roll Express at The Final Countdown at AWE Awesome Night of the Legends on Oct. 15 in Fishersville, Va.

Morton wants to ‘paint a picture’ at Night of the Superstars

Ricky Morton would like it if Kevin Nash and Doug Gibson had front-row, ringside seats at the AWE Awesome Night of the Superstars event on Sept. 15 in Woodstock, Va.
“I want you to come out and watch our match. I want you to. Because I’m coming there to make a statement,” Morton said in a video with Awesome Wrestling Entertainment webcast today.
The statement: We know what we’re doing.

Morton to fans: ‘I deeply apologize’

Ricky Morton seems to be trying to backtrack from his recent strong statements about Kevin Nash and Doug Gibson that fueled the fire for the big main-event match between Nash and Gibson and Morton’s Rock-n-Roll Express.
“I had to make a statement to come out and get somebody’s attention, and I did,” said Morton, who is having obvious second thoughts about the shoot interviews he has done on Nash even as the interviews have achieved what Morton wanted them to achieve.

Morton’s beef with Nash: ‘You threw me away, dude’

It’s not personal for Ricky Morton, his longstanding issue with Kevin Nash. Except that it is personal. Very personal.
“I’m not out here to say that I’m sorry for what I said to him. No, I’m not. I’m just telling you guys that what I’ve got to do is what I’ve got to do,” said Morton, who talked his way into a tag-team match with Nash at the Oct. 15 AWE Awesome Night of the Legends.

Exclusive interview: Ricky Morton talks to AWE

Kevin Nash could do some serious damage to Ricky Morton. Morton doesn’t argue that point.
“But I just didn’t fall off the back of a turnip truck,” said Morton in an exclusive interview with Awesome Wrestling Entertainment posted today to YouTube.
Morton agreed to the interview, he said today, because he wants to set the record straight on the controversy involving himself, AWE CEO Marvin Ward and former WWE and WCW World Champion Kevin Nash.

Morton: I’m ready to stand

Ricky Morton isn’t afraid of what Kevin Nash might have in store for him at AWE’s Awesome Night of the Legends.
“You come out here and say, I gotta sign waivers because of all the things that you’re going to do to me. Well, hell, boy, how do you even think I got in this business?” said Morton, who will team with Robert Gibson as the Rock-n-Roll Express faces Kevin Nash and Doug Gibson in the main event of AWE’s Awesome Night of the Legends on Oct. 15 in Fishersville, Va.

Kevin Nash to Ricky Morton: Have your papers in order

Kevin Nash offers advice to Ricky Morton in advance of their upcoming tag-team match at AWE Awesome Night of the Legends.
Have your papers in order, Ricky.
The other piece of advice: Make sure you let people know if you want be buried, or cremated.
The feud between the longtime rivals, who have never met in the ring, continues to intensify.

Kevin Nash to Ricky Morton: ‘Watch what you ask for’

Doug Gibson’s message to Ricky Morton: Don’t worry about me. You’d better be worried about Kevin Nash.
“Ten years in the making, huh? Ten years of you running your mouth. You know what? Watch what you ask for, Ricky. Because sometimes, you get it,” said Nash in a video interview.
“You have no idea what it’s like to be with me. I’m a seven-foot, 310-pound, in-shape grown man. Grown man. Not some little boy still wanting to be a rocker,” Nash said.

Morton to Nash: I accept

Ricky Morton got what he has always wanted – a match with Kevin Nash.
“I don’t guess you know Ricky Morton too good, because you know, when I called you a cocksucker, now I’m coming to man up,” said Morton, who accepted the match for the Rock-n-Roll Express against Kevin Nash and Doug Gibson at the Oct. 15 AWE Awesome Night of the Legends in Fishersville, Va.

Nash responds to Morton: ‘You crossed the line

Ricky Morton has been trying to pick a fight with Kevin Nash for 10 years. He finally “crossed the line,” Nash said, with recent comments from Morton suggesting that “the only way Kevin Nash ever got anywhere in the wrestling business was by sucking Vince McMahon’s dick.”
“You challenged my manhood,” Nash said. “If I’m not mistaken, you’re the one who just got out of jail, right? Isn’t that more your MO? if anybody’s been doing that activity, I’m pretty sure it’s you,” Nash said.

Morton calls out Ward, Nash

Ricky Morton apparently can’t take “hell, no” for an answer.
Morton posted another video to his YouTube channel that steps over any lines of decency, taking personal shots at Marvin Ward and his family, and also calling out a familiar YouTube foe, Kevin Nash, who made light of Morton’s recent run of rants directed at Morton in a tweet over the weekend.

Ward clears the air on ‘incident’

Hell could freeze over, and even then Marvin Ward would have no interest in Ricky Morton.
“After what Ricky Morton did to me, why would I even give him an opportunity?” Ward said in an interview with Awesome Wrestling Entertainment, responding to a recent YouTube video in which Morton sarcastically took credit for the concussion and facial injuries sustained by Ward in a May 17 incident outside the AWE Training Center in Fishersville – which Ward said was no “incident” at all.

Another shot from Ricky Morton

Ricky Morton says he will not lose sleep over AWE CEO Marvin Ward’s promise to never book him on another wrestling card.
“You tell me you’re not going to book me? Well, understand this, somebody else will,” said Morton, calling Ward a “money-hungry whoring bastard” who needs to be “smartened up” to the wrestling business.

Ward responds to Morton’s challenge

Ricky Morton has challenged AWE CEO Marvin Ward to a tag-team match.
Marvin’s response: “It will be a cold day in hell before I ever book the Rock-n-Roll Express on another show of mine.”
The unexpected response from Ward seems to close the door to the online feud between Morton and Ward.

Ricky Morton to Marvin Ward: ‘I’ll make you famous’

Ricky Morton of the Rock-n-Roll Express has another message for Marvin Ward.
“You’re trying to put yourself in a category where the Rock-n-Roll Express has been,” Morton said, repeating a line that he told an interviewer for a wrestling website covering the controversy.
“I’ll do this for you, brother. I’ll make you famous. You want to be somebody in this business? Since you know so much about my personal life, why don’t you go out and get you a tag-team partner, and you meet Robert and I on Oct. 15 in Fishersville?”

Marvin shoots on Ricky Morton

AWE CEO Marvin Ward addressed his future with the Awesome Wrestling Entertainment web team on May 31.
Ward conceded that he “almost walked away” from AWE after a run-in with Ricky Morton on May 17, but in a video posted to the AwesomeWrestlingEntertainment.com website on May 31 he reaffirmed his commitment to the company and responded to comments made by Morton.

Morton takes credit for … something

A video posted to YouTube on May 26 has veteran professional wrestler Ricky Morton apparently using the real-life drama involving AWE Founder Marvin Ward for publicity purposes.
“Why don’t you tell the people what really happened? Quit lying to them,” Morton said in the video posted on a YouTube page named ThePreachermann100.

Ward speaks on medical condition

AWE Founder Marvin Ward sat down with the Awesome Wrestling Entertainment website on May 25.
Ward in the interview discusses his medical condition following an incident in the parking lot outside the AWE Training Center in Fishersville, Va., on May 17 that sent him to the hospital.
Ward suffered a slew of facial injuries in the incident as is obvious in the video.

Wrestling legend upset with AWE CEO

Comments made by AWE Founder Marvin Ward in an April 22 video interview seem to have inadvertently set off a controversy with a pro-wrestling legend.
“When I looked at it at first on the TV I thought I was watching a Porky’s movie. I didn’t even realize what you are trying to say to me,” Ricky Morton said in a video posted to a YouTube channel named ThePreachermann100.

Ward raises question with push given to legends in interview

AWE CEO Marvin Ward offered an interesting observation on the Rock-n-Roll Express in an April 22 video interview with AwesomeWrestlingEntertainment.com. “The Rock-n-Roll Express, don’t get me wrong, great guys, but I just think they were in the right place at the right time. I really think the Rock-n-Roll Express was, and this is going to sound bad, but I think they were overrated. They got push after push after push,” Ward said.
